Channel requirements
Pinterest pin requirements
Curvi builds Pinterest pins to the rules below, then measures the output pixels against the size, background and fill rules before a file ships. This spec is compiled from public guidance and is pending verification against official documentation.
| Rule | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Exact size | 1000 by 1500 px |
| Background | No background rule published |
| Text on the image | Allowed |
| Formats | jpg, png |
| Maximum file size | 20 MB |
What this means in practice
This format is more flexible than a marketplace main image, but sticking to the recommended size keeps the crop sharp and avoids compression artifacts.
Built to this spec from one photo
Curvi builds Pinterest pins from one photo of your product, measures the output pixels and attaches the report. A file that still fails a check after a retry is marked for review, and you are not charged for it.
