Amazon secondary images requirements
Curvi builds Amazon secondary images to the rules below, then measures the output pixels against the size, background and fill rules before a file ships. This spec is tracked against official documentation.
| Rule | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Recommended size | 2000 by 2000 px |
| Longest side, minimum | 1600 px |
| Background | Any background allowed |
| Text on the image | Allowed |
| Formats | jpg, png |
| Maximum file size | 10 MB |
| Maximum image count | 8 |
| File naming convention | {sku}.PT{nn}.jpg |
What this means in practice
Resolution matters because zoom is a conversion feature. Keep the longest side at 1600 px or more so the zoom view stays sharp.
Built to this spec from one photo
Curvi builds Amazon secondary images from one photo of your product, measures the output pixels and attaches the report. A file that still fails a check after a retry is marked for review, and you are not charged for it.
